Amy Broussard – Executive Director

Amy BroussardAmy Broussard is a Lafayette native with 12 years of marketing experience. She has significant experience in marketing and business development in both the telecommunications and healthcare industries. Currently, Ms. Broussard is the Executive Director for Woman’s Foundation, a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the total well-being of women and their families. She helps each division of the foundation achieve their department goals while maintaining a healthy relationship with a 30-member Board of Directors. As the executive director she also works closely with committees to maintain Woman’s Foundation’s finances and investments, issue grants to help fund programs that are in line with the foundation’s mission and award scholarships to local nursing students who meet certain criteria.

Prior to Woman’s Foundation, Ms. Broussard was the Sales and Marketing Analyst for LUS Fiber where she handled internal and external communications for a new company in a highly competitive market. This included properly informing employees of the reasoning behind any product changes and assisting them in communicating to customers as well as developing marketing messages to customer to inform them of upcoming opportunities and other important notices. In that role she also managed the brand of a local company with national recognition and worked to maintain the company’s positive image in the community and across the country.

She is a member of the Junior League of Lafayette and the705, and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Rachel Gibson – Community Education Program Coordinator

rachelRachel Gibson is passionate about the care of children and their well-being. She previously worked at St. Pius aftercare and was Head Supervisor at Sarah’s Daycare aftercare and summer program. She saw to the health and safety of children in ages ranging from 5 to 12 years. Ms. Gibson was also the 7th and 8th grade volleyball coach at Catholic High New Iberia. She is currently the Community Education Program Coordinator at Woman’s Foundation and continues her work with children by coordinating programs such as; the Let’s Talk Puberty Series, Safe Sitter, and Parents and the Law. She also coordinates and maintains the foundations only fundraiser, the new born exhibit at Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Ms. Gibson also provides health and wellness screenings and coaching for SB Wellness.

Ms. Gibson has volunteered at multiple local organizations assisting in community events for, American Heart Association, Hearts of Hope, Suzan G. Komen, Miles Perrett Cancer Services, and Habitat for Humanity. In addition to her volunteer work she also completed internships at Lafayette General Wellness Center, and Woman’s Foundation Inc. Ms. Gibson was an active member of Phi Mu Fraternity during her time at UL and is currently a member of the Phi Mu alumni chapter.

Ms. Gibson is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion and Wellness. She remains active in the community through her involvement with the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and the Louisiana Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance, (LAHPERD.) Where she serves as chair elect for the school health committee.

Kyrin Minor – Community Education Program Coordinator

KyrinKyrin Minor is from Brusly, Louisiana and is a recent graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion and Wellness. During school she was an active member of the Kinesiology Professional Association. She volunteered her time at the non-profit organization Hearts of Hope and obtained an internship with the American Heart Association, as well as the Woman’s Foundation.

Ms. Minor is currently a coordinator in the continuing education department at the Woman’s Foundation, where she has enjoyed working on programs such as Kids on the Geaux, College Survival, Safe Sitter, Tweens/Teens with Life Choices, and Puberty programs. She especially enjoyed watching the kids achieve, learn, and grow through the Kids on the Geaux Outreach program.

She is active in the community through her membership with the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving on the board of The Louisiana Association for health, Physical education, Recreation and Dance as chair elect for Health Promotion and Wellness committee.

Taryn Daigle – Continuing Medical Education Director

TarynTaryn Daigle has a strong history in the health care industry. She held positions such as pharmacy technician and respiratory therapist. She currently works to provide continuing medical education programs to all physicians statewide through her work at Woman’s Foundation. As CME Director she has maintained accreditation with the Louisiana State Medical Society for the past eight years, and has issued 715 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. She coordinates statewide conferences annually for the Louisiana Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Louisiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She works with a variety of organizations to jointly provide Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) for designated physician specialties. In addition to her CME Director position at Woman’s Foundation, Ms. Daigle also works as the Executive Assistant to the Louisiana Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Ms. Daigle graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a concentration in health sciences. She serves on the Board of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives as Education Chair and is an Ambassador for One Acadiana.

Ms. Daigle is married to Gregory Daigle of Opelousas and has two children, Kennedy and Gabriel. She is a member of the Broadmoor Elementary PTO Board in support of her children.

Ashley Lambert – Continuing Medical Education Coordinator

ashleyAshley Lambert has four years of experience in medical conference management. She worked previously for a company that managed national conferences for hospitals and institutions such as Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, The American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair in Chicago, IL, and others. During her career she has held various roles such as faculty coordinator, budget manager and project manager. She has in-depth experience in all areas of medical conference management. In her career she has managed faculty relationships for multiple medical conferences, acted as a liaison between conference faculty and staff, managed faculty invitations, and maintained good communications with all faculty for multiple conferences. She has also managed a $5 million budget for multiple medical education conferences, performed weekly revenue analysis, prepared monthly and annual financial reports, and coordinated with conference chairmen to create agendas and plan the conferences.

Ms. Lambert has called Lafayette, LA home for over 22 years. She is a proud graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning an Accounting degree in 2010 with honors. During college she participated in the British Studies Program at the University of Southern Mississippi  and traveled to London, England during a summer semester. She enjoys traveling to different parts of the world to soak up different cultures and a see the sites. When not traveling, she enjoys participating in Lafayette’s local festivals and listening to live music. Her hobbies include photography, boxing and target shooting.

Ashley has a cat named Rambeaux, and loves sprinkled donuts.
