Woman’s Foundation is accredited by the Louisiana State Medical Society as an approved provider of continuing medical education credits for Louisiana physicians. The Foundation partners with a variety of healthcare related organizations, associations and facilities to jointly provide CME activities. Woman’s Foundation works directly with each organization to ensure that the ACCME Essential Areas, Elements and Policies as well as the Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education and the Louisiana State Medical Society CME Accreditation Program Essentials and Criteria have been met.
Once an organization contacts Woman’s Foundation regarding an opportunity to jointly provide a CME activity the organization will receive our Joint Providership Guidelines and will be assigned to one of our continuing education specialists.
