Body Talk
Pre-Teens (9-11 years)
The Body Talk class covers the basics of puberty for young adolescences. Perfect for children currently going through puberty or children who are showing the first signs of puberty or have friends who are showing signs of puberty. The instructor will discuss topics such as the five stages of development, good hygiene habits, feelings and emotions. An in-depth explanation and discussion of the menstrual cycle is included in the class for girls.

Beyond Body Talk
Mid-Teens (12-14 years)
Beyond Body Talk provides further discussion of the development of the body appropriate for teens. Topics covered in this course include body composition changes, development of male and female characteristics, the reproductive system and consequences of risky behavior. A review of the major events of puberty will also be provided in the beginning of the class. And participants will learn about making good decisions, morals, values and setting personal goals.

Sex, Truth and Consequences
Older Teens (15-18 years)
Sex, Truth & Consequences provides a realistic view of the results of choosing to be sexually active. This class covers pregnancy and how it occurs, consequences of teen pregnancy, costs of taking care of a baby as well as information on sexually transmitted infections. The class also includes discussions on sexting, peer pressure and sex in the media. Participants will learn about making good decisions, morals, values and setting personal goals. This class is only offered upon request and once minimum attendance requirements are met.
